Blood pressure and lipids with eradication therapy plus sprout powder
How do risk markers change when eradication therapy is combined with sprout powder in patients with diabetes and H. pylori infection?
Human · randomized trial of three interventions

Key findings
Blood pressure changes under the combined condition
Reductions in systolic and diastolic blood pressure were reported in the group receiving standard eradication therapy plus sprout powder.
Difference in eradication rates by intervention
Among completers, eradication rates were 89.3% with standard therapy, 56.0% with powder alone, and 91.7% with both.
Pre–post change in inflammation markers
A decrease in hs-CRP was reported in the powder-only group. A subgroup analysis after eradication was also conducted.
Study design
Eighty-six participants were assigned to standard eradication therapy, 6 g/day of sprout powder for 28 days, or both. Seventy-seven completed the study; blood pressure, lipids, and high-sensitivity CRP were assessed alongside eradication outcomes.
